Thank you for your interest in having your child attend Nelson Mandela Elementary (NME). At NME, we strongly believe in our mission:
Waitlist Process
In order to be placed on the waitlist, families must go through the full application process while the application window is open. There are no opportunities to be put on the waiting list outside of the application window.
Our yearly acceptance of new scholars is dependent on both the availability of space in each grade level as well as the determination if a family is the right fit for our program.
In the event that space is unavailable after a family goes through the application process and they are deemed a good fit, they will receive notification that they’ve been accepted onto the waitlist. Families must confirm their position on the waitlist.
When space becomes available, families will be contacted via email. They must respond within 5 business days confirming their acceptance into the program to hold their spot.

Kindergarten Application Window: December 1-December 31Grades 1-2 Application Window: March 1-March 31.
