Nelson Mandela Elementary Parent Advisory Committee (PAC)

The PAC is a parent-run organization that exists as an extension of the school to help build a bridge between staff and parents. Its purpose is to enhance and support the educational experience at Nelson Mandela Elementary through charitable events, family events, and educational opportunities.

Membership is automatically granted to all parents and guardians of Nelson Mandela Elementary scholars, plus all staff at Nelson Mandela Elementary. There are no membership dues. Members have voting privileges. Any member shall have the privilege of making motions and serving on committees.

The PAC is run by parents in elected positions: President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer. A member of the administration is also a part of the PAC.

PAC meetings are held on Zoom on the fourth Tuesday of each month, with the exception of major holidays and school breaks or events, in which meetings will be scheduled for the Tuesday prior to or after the regular meeting.
