Christian Griffin - Paraeducator

Mr. Griffin was raised around the military; he was born in Okinawa, Japan, lived at Offutt A.F.B. and in England for a couple of years, and moved back to Omaha in 2007. For three years, he served as the data and program coordinator at Creighton University, where he worked with high school and college students interested in pursuing careers in Health Sciences, supporting student recruitment and academic pipelines for both the school year and summer enrichment programs.

Mr. Griffin first experienced Nelson Mandela Elementary as a parent of three scholars, volunteering as a coach for football, basketball, and soccer. His growing interest in education led him to start as a substitute paraprofessional for the first half of the 2025–2026 school year. After winter break, he transitioned into a long-term substitute paraprofessional role for Ms. Hudson’s first-grade class. Mr. Griffin looks forward to growing as an educator and continuing to pour into the scholars. He is a proud husband and father of four children. For fun, he loves to read, play, and coach sports like basketball and soccer.
