Thank you for your interest in having your child attend Nelson Mandela Elementary for kindergarten. The pre-application for the 2025-2026 school year is now closed. If you are still interested in Nelson Mandela Elementary, you can complete a pre-application for grades 1-3 in March of 2026.

Thank you for your interest in Nelson Mandela Elementary. The pre-application for kindergarten will be open from December 1, 2024-December 31, 2024. 

This pre-application is the first step in your child being considered for enrollment for kindergarten and is intended to help us determine preliminary need/eligibility. Completing it does not guarantee enrollment.

Eligibility requirements:

  1. Your child must be five years old by June 1, 2025
  2. Your child must have all required immunizations. We do not accept waivers or exemptions of any kind.
  3. Your child must be available to attend our summer Jump Start program in June and July.
