Jessica Hawthorne - Teacher
Jessica Hawthorne was born in San Diego, California and moved to Omaha, Nebraska with her parents in 2004. In 2016, she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education with an endorsement in Early Childhood Education from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. In 2021, she graduated from Midland University with her Master’s in Teacher Leadership in addition to being a member of a National Board Certification Cohort. Ms. Hawthorne has taught 6 years for Omaha Public Schools in first and second grade.
When she isn’t teaching, she enjoys spending time with her parents and close friends. She likes to be outdoors and walk her family’s Goldendoodle dog named Bailey.
Her mission is, “to provide a safe and reflective classroom while fostering a love for learning with a growth mindset, creativity, and exploration. To advocate for all scholars and challenge them with high expectations.To build collaborative relationships with scholars, families, and the community.”
