Kia Gray - Art Teacher
Kia Gray is an art educator and artist hailing from Omaha, Nebraska. Their passion for igniting the spark of creativity in young minds has led them to work with children since 2015. As an art educator, Kia Gray believes in the transformative power of art in fostering self-expression, critical thinking, and cultural awareness. They have dedicated themselves to introducing scholars to diverse art forms and expanding their knowledge of the art world and art history. Kia Gray is also a talented illustration artist. They utilize ink, watercolor, and digital techniques to create vibrant and thought-provoking works. Through their illustrations, they explore themes of identity, childhood, and self-love. Kia Gray is pursuing an art education degree from the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO). Their academic journey has provided them with a deep understanding of art history, theory, and pedagogy.
