Dr. Kerrie Ivey - OTD, OTR/L, Pediatric Occupational Therapist
Dr. Kerrie Ivey grew up in Omaha and is a graduate of Omaha Northwest High School. Kerrie graduated in 2006 from Creighton University with a Doctorate in Occupational Therapy. Kerrie is an experienced pediatric occupational therapist who has worked at Children’s Hospital and Medical Center, UNMC- Munroe Meyer Institute as a school based therapist in the Omaha Public Schools, and as a consultant for Phoenix Academy.
Kerrie is passionate about education and is dedicated to equipping our youth with the tools that will instill the confidence and ability to pursue meaningful learning activities by teaching foundational skills from a developmental perspective. Kerrie will use her expertise in the area of development to work with scholars and teachers to address the scholar's needs in the classroom. She will use a holistic and multisensory approach to help facilitate the Mandela scholars' optimal participation in the classroom.
