Tishara Collins - Paraeducator
Tishara Collins was born in Chicago, IL, but moved to Omaha when she was a kid. She attended King Elementary, Saratoga Elementary, Nathan Hale Middle School, and graduated from Northwest High School. After graduating, she worked as a toddler teacher for two years before taking some time off when she had her daughter. Shortly after, she started working for the YMCA at different locations with toddlers, elementary, and middle school students. After leaving the YMCA, she worked at Northwest High School as an ACP para and part time at Nelson Mandela Kids Can. Now, she is a full time paraeducator at Mandela. She says, “I love to see children grow and learn new things. I'm also excited to be a part of the Mandela Team!!”
