Lexi Mitchell - Nurse
Lexi Mitchell has been a practicing nurse since 2019. She first started as a medical/surgical nurse in Denver before moving to Atlanta to be closer to her family. She continued to work in the same specialty until she became a travel nurse, which is how she ended up in Omaha. Lexi accepted a nursing contract at an adult psychiatric facility where she worked in the psychiatric emergency department before becoming a nursing supervisor. While there, she learned that nursing administration was not her passion. She is currently pursuing her master’s to become a family nurse practitioner with a focus on integrative/holistic preventative medicine. She states, "I am passionate about helping others take control of their own medical care so they can live full, healthy, and happy lives, and I’m so excited about the opportunity to care for all of your scholars."
