Arianna Dacus - Paraeducator

Arianna Dacus is currently pursuing her bachelor's degree in early childhood education at Iowa Western Community College. Her passion for education and commitment to the Mandela school community are evident in the journey she's been on with the school since she began volunteering for service hours in 2016 while her mother was a classroom teacher. In 2019, she joined the team as a summer hire, working alongside Ms. Bultez in a 2nd-grade classroom. Now, as a paraeducator, she and Ms. Bultez are back again as partners in a fourth grade classroom. She says, "This prior experience has helped us build a strong partnership that will undoubtedly benefit our 4th-grade scholars." Ms. Dacus is also an employee of the Kids Can after school program. Ms. Dacus also says, "I'm ready to take on any challenges that come my way, and I'm excited to embark on this journey with the Mandela scholars. My dedication, familiarity with our school, and focus on fostering a supportive learning environment make me a fantastic fit for this role."
